สายไฟเบอร์ออฟติคมีกี่ชนิดแตกต่างกันอย่างไร
ทำไมถึงต้องใช้สาย INDOOR/OUTDOOR ? จากการติดตั้งสาย OUTDOOR ของประเทศไทย ส่วนใหญ่จะเดินสาย OUTDOOR จากภายนอกและเดินเข้าภายในอาคารเลย ซึ่งตามข้อกำหนดสากลนั้น สาย OUTDOOR จะมีข้อเสียอยู่หนึ่งข้อคือ ลามไฟซึ่งไม่เหมาะสมกับการเดินภายในอาคาร ดังนั้นเพื่อความถูกต้องจึงนิยมใช้สาย INDOOR-OUTDOOR มาเดินแทนสาย OUTDOOR โดยจะมีราคาเพิ่มขึ้นไม่มาก สายไฟเบอร์ ประกอบด้วยอะไรบ้าง? โครงสร้างของสาย Fiber Optic นั้น จะมีชั้นของ Jacket ทีละชั้น มีดังนี้ 1. เส้นแก้ว (Optical Core) ซึ่งเป็นตัวนำสัญญาณ จะมีขนาดและเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง 9 mm, 50 mm และ 62.5 mm 2. ฉนวนเคลือบ (Codding) เป็นสารเคลือบแก้วให้นำสัญญาณได้ นิยมเคลือบจนแก้วมีเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง 125 mm 3. ฉนวนป้องกัน (Coating) เป็นเสมือนผนังของเส้นแก้วที่เคลือบให้ปลอดภัยขึ้น และใส่สีที่ผนังชั้นนี้ ซึ่งจะเคลือบจนมีเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง 250 mm 4. ปลอกสาย (Buffer) เป็นเสมือนปลอกสาย หรือเสื้อชั้นในที่หุ้มป้องกัน มักมีขนาดเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง 900 mm (นิยมเรียก Buffer Tube) 5. ปลอกหุ้ม (Jacket) เป็นเสมือนเสื้อนอกที่ใส่ให้เกิดความเรียบร้อย ฉนวนชั้นนี้จะมีความแตกต่างตามการใช้งานได้แก่ Indoor, Outdoor เป็นต้น สาย Ext Grade คืออะไร? Ext Grade ย่อมาจาก Extend Grade หมายถึง เส้นแก้ว Optical ที่นำมาผลิตสาย Fiber Optic เป็นแก้วที่มีคุณภาพสูง มีความเป็นระเบียบในการจัดแสงที่ผ่านไปในตัวแก้ว ทำให้ลดการสูญเสีย ในการส่งสัญญาณได้ดี เลือกสายแบบไหนให้เหมาะกับการใช้งานนี้ 1. Duct Cable คือ สาย Outdoor ประเภทหนึ่งที่ออกแบบโครงสร้างไม่มีส่วนใดเป็นตัวนำไฟฟ้า (All-Dielectric) ซึ่งจะมีคุณสมบัติกันฟ้าผ่า และจะมีแกนกลางที่ออกมารับโครงสร้างให้แข็งแรงการใช้งานจะนำไปร้อยในท่อHDPE หรือท่อเหล็ก 2. Direct Burial คือ สายที่ถูกออกแบบมาให้สามารถฝังดินได้ โดยไม่ต้องร้อยท่อ Conduit ส่วนใหญ่จะมี Steel Armored ป้องกันสายภายใน 3. สาย Fig 8 คือ เป็นสายที่เดินในอากาศ (Aerial) โดยลักษณะโครงสร้างของสายจะเหมือนเลข 8 โดยด้านบนของเลข 8 จะเป็น Sling ที่ใช้แขวนสาย และมี Steel Armor กันสัตว์แทะ 4. ADSS ย่อม่าจาก All Dieletic self support กล่าวคือ เป็นสาย Outdoor แบบใหม่พัฒนามาให้มีโครงสร้างที่สามารถแขวนตามเสาได้ โดยไม่ต้องใช้ Sling เพราะ Sling เป็นตัวนำไฟฟ้า อาจเกิดปัญหาที่ไฟช็อตหรือฟ้าฝ่าได้ ทั่วไปต้องเป็น Double Jacket เพื่อความคงทนในการใช้งานและป้องกันการรบกวนของสัตว์ Military Gade คืออะไร? 1. MIL Grade = Military Grade เป็นมาตรฐานสำหรับสินค้าของกองทัพสหรัฐอเมริกาเป็นมาตรฐานที่สูงกว่า และมีคุณภาพ มากกว่าสินค้าโดยทั่วไป 2. Shield 95 % หมายถึง เปอร์เซ็นต์เส้นลวดที่ถักทับฉนวนของสาย เพื่อลดหรือป้องกันการรบกวนของสนามแม่เหล็ก ซึ้งปกติทั่วไป หุ้มประมาณ 65 % แต่ถ้าต้องการสินค้าที่คุณภาพสูง ๆ ต้องหุ้ม 95% 1. Adapter ของ Singlemode สามารถใช้ได้กับ Multimode และ Singlemode เพราะ Ferule ของ Singlemode จะมีความละเอียดและดีกว่า Multimode 2. หมดปัญหาสายใยแก้วหัก ขณะเข้าหัวหรือม้วนเก็บเพื่อความเรียบร้อย ใส่ในตู้หรือแผงกระจายสาย ด้วยการสวม Buffer Tube ขนาด 900 mm, ป้องกันการแตกหัก เพื่อความสะดวกและปลอดภัย สมเป็นมืออาชีพ 3. เครื่องมือ Terminate และ OTDR ราคาสุดพิเศษ เพื่อให้คุณเป็นมืออาชีพอย่างแท้จริง.... ความแตกต่างของ Polymer กับ Ceramic Polymer เป็นวัสดุประดิษฐ์จาก PVC คล้าย ๆ กับพลาสติก ส่วน Ceramic ผลิตจากวัสดุ Zincronia ซึ่งเป็นแร่ธาตุชนิดหนึ่งคุณสมบัติของ Ceramic จะคงทน มีความละเอียดกว่า Polymer มาก และมีอายุการใช้งานที่ยาวนานกว่า และที่สำคัญที่สุดก็คือ Loss จะน้อยกว่า Polymer มาก ชนิดของ Patch Card Fiber Optic Patch Cord มี 3 ชนิดให้เลือก คือ 1. แบบ Simplex คือ เป็นสายเดี่ยว ๆ ซึ่งนิยมใช้ในงาน Telecom 2. แบบ Duplex คือ สายคู่ติดกัน ที่มักจะใช้ในงาน Computer แต่ก็มีบางครั้งที่นำมาใช้ระบบ Telecom 3. แบบ Pigtails คือ แบบสายเดี่ยวหรือสายเปลือย และมีหัวด้านเดียว (ลักษณะเหมือนชื่อเรียกคือ “หางหมู”) SX กับ LX ต่างกันตรงไหน ? การส่งสัญญาณในสายใยแก้ว จะใช้วิธีส่งผ่านความยาวคลื่น โดยหากเป็นความยาวคลื่นของสาย Multimode ที่ 850 mm จะเรียกสั้น ๆ ว่า SX (คลื่นสั้น) แต่ถ้าส่งผ่านสาย Singlemode (LX) สามารถรองรับสัญญาณได้ 2 ความยาวคลื่น (Wavalenght) โดยขึ้นอยู่กับอุปกรณ์ส่งสัญญาณ คือ 1310 nm และ 1550 nm ดังนั้นในการที่จะขยายระยะทางให้เพิ่มขึ้นอีกมาก ๆจึงต้องใช้ Wavalenght ที่ 1550 nm อย่างไรก็ตามควรตรวจสอบจากคู่มืออุปกรณ์ SWITCH และ HUB ที่ต้องการต่อพ่วงว่าใช้ Wavalenght ใด เพื่อจะได้เลือกใช้ Media Converter ที่เหมาะสม
